Pala Pizza recently added a vegan menu to there menu. YUM. You can get a pizza with daiya cheese and field roast sausage and it tastes like greasy bliss. :)

I will definitely try this place if ever in Philly, but I had to chime in and say the Three Brothers Pizza is the best vegan pizza I've ever had. I'm particularly partial to their white pie with spinach, which features a combo of Teese & Daiya and cashew ricotta. It's well worth the trip to Long Island.

I LOVE Gianna's Grille! (known to old timers as Mom's, it's former name). They have been serving vegan pizza and various vegan sandwiches like the Philly cheesesteak and meatball heroes for years now. NYC vegans have been known to go to Philly JUST to go to Mom's (I'm one of them), beg other visitors to Philly to bring them back a pie (guilty again), and, they also serve vegan desserts that are either Vegan Treats or as good as. Jasmin, great article! (did you bring me a pie?!) :)
