If you listen to our podcast, then you might have heard Gary Loewenthal on a recent episode. Gary is the director of the already famous Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale (WWVBS). After having him on our show, my good friend Marisa Miller Wolfson (of Kind Green Planet) and I were inspired to host our very own vegan bake sale. It’s coming up on April 22, and we made a little video about it …

Needless to say, what Gary and the other folks at WWVBS have created is a masterpiece of activism. They have taken a small grassroots tactic and made it global. They are literally changing the world, one bite of compassion at a time.
