Our Hen House Talks to MooShoes

Look at your feet. Though this is hardly a scientific study, I’m willing to bet that at least two thirds of the folks reading this are currently donned in fashionable vegan foot-ware from MooShoes.
Yeah, MooShoes. You know them — the vegan shoe store on the Lower East Side of Manhattan that is run by sisters and business partners, Sara and Erica Kubersky.
I recently took a stroll over to MooShoes (what a hard life I have!) for a chat with Sara and Erica. We discussed how they founded their vegan business, advice for others who wish to open a vegan business, and the reaction of the general public when they meander in and find themselves in a stylish mecca of compassionate fashion.

Stores like Moo Shoes have made a huge difference in the movement. I can’t believe they have been around for 15 years! Way before vegan fashion was being featured in Style and W and Vogue. As an activist, I really try to support vegan companies. Especially companies that also think about items that are fair trade and eco friendly. Great video:)
