Herbivore GIVEAWAY: What Would Your Billboard Say?

Though it’s slightly inappropriate, it’s true that — in my head — I am having a mad passionate love affair with Herbivore Clothing, and it’s founders, Josh Hooten and Michelle Schwegmann. Herbivore, which is part of the vegan mini-mall in Portland, OR (but has a lively online presence, and a witty blog that you seriously need to subscribe to), is a community mainstay for us vegans. Josh designs all of the clever t-shirts at Herbivore, which allow us to proudly flaunt our worldview in an artistic, unique, sometimes in-your-face way. Slogans include “Compassion is Invincible,” “Eat Like You Give a Damn,” “Cow Hugger,” “I’m Vegan and I Love You,” the brand new “Ride Bikes, Grow Food,” “Only Kale Can Save Us Now” (that one was Mariann’s birthday gift), and one of my personal favorites, “Eating Meat is Fucking Up the Planet.”

Now, one of you has the opportunity to win a t-shirt of your choice from Herbivore Clothing (you lucky dog). All you have to do is leave a comment below answering the question: If you were given a billboard on a busy highway that could say anything at all, what would it say? Comment by midnight EST on Wednesday, May 4. Only one entry per person.
