If you read Our Hen House regularly (or listen to the weekly podcast), you know we’re working on a myriad of projects all the time, each one requiring time, effort, energy, and, of course, money. Since Our Hen House is your hen house too, we hope you’ll see our work as incentive enough to help us out from time to time in the financial department. The fact is that, without your help, Our Hen House won’t be able to grow in its role as a central clearinghouse for all kinds of ideas to create change for animals. Of course, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations to Our Hen House are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

With the economy the way it is, however (and since we all like to open packages), if you are kind enough to help us out, we want to make sure that you get something tangible in return. Luckily, we’ve teamed up with the talented and generous writer and animal activist, John Yunker, to give away FREE copies of his amazing animal rights-themed novel, The Tourist Trail, to everyone who donates $25 or more to Our Hen House.
