Welcome to the fourth podcast episode of Our Hen House!
In today’s episode, we come to you from Disneyworld — where Mariann is busy with meetings for the Animal Law Committee of the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, and Jasmin is busy gallivanting around the Magic Kingdom. It quickly becomes apparent to us, however, that the “magical” cuisine at DW is lacking vegan food, despite what the hype (and our friends) had us believing. We’ll discuss that, and, along with animal rights lawyer, Delcianna Winders (who will join us live), we’ll also discuss in detail various labeling schemes that the industry uses to persuade unsuspecting consumers that their meat, dairy and eggs were the products of happy animals. Not so. We will also fill you in on some new news from the mid-west, including an important new ballot initiative for farm animals, and why it is unlike any other in history.
