I got a Fitbit for my birthday last month, and I'm using it monitor my daily steps, among other things. I've made a commitment to do a minimum of 10,000 steps daily through a combination of various activities, and so far so good!

I donated and became a Flock member but I don't remember registering. Do I need to register now or have I just forgotten that I did already? Please, help me!! Thanks, Marsha

I'm going to take care of myself between now and the end of the year by upping my greens consumption and making sure to get enough sleep! I love Dr. Greger's videos! This DVD set would be awesome! (

I'm going to be taking care of myself by further aligning my passion for animal advocacy with my actions in the world in two specific ways. Specific way one: finish editing LETTERS TO A NEW VEGAN and find a publisher for it :) Specific way two: Launch a home-based vegan cooking school in our new hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. How is this self-care? Working on behalf of animals -- even if I'm working harder and longer than ever before -- *increases* rather than drains my energy. Funny how that works, eh?! That's the power of love.

Between now and the end of the year I plan to take care of myself by eating more greens and doing more yoga, both of which I've been neglecting lately.

sleep! I need to do a better job of getting to bed earlier, I'm usually trying to pack as much into the day as I can and foregoing the rest I should be getting

Ooh, this is fabulous! Thank you, OHH and Dr. Greger, for the opportunity! Fun! So, here are my "taking care of myself over the holidays plans": I'm going to up my intake of nutrient dense food even more, by focusing on my green smoothie breakfast, a fully-loaded salad(which I add some form of legumes and grain too), and adding a green soup for dinner, and fruit for in between meals snacks. I will allow some holiday desserts, but saving it for the really really special treats! :) I'll continue my Pilates practice, but add in Yoga more consistently along with more meditation. I'll enjoy my new favorite Blue Lotus Traditional Masala Chai with a little stevia and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Yum! Sleep, yes, sleep. Read. And, relax with some holiday movies. Hang out with my sweet husband and sweet kitties (which is always my favorite!). Best wishes to all! xo

Limit my alcohol consumption, do more cooking instead of just heating up (like why do I let basil go bad in the refrigerator?), get back to my daily yoga and meditation schedule, resume my attendance at worship, and above all: just let things of the past go. -Jonathan
