My favorite vegan dessert is chocolate mousse - so quick and easy to make and everyone loves it (and they can't believe it's vegan, which is even better!). I use 1 box silken tofu, 1-2 bananas, 1 tsp. vanilla, 6 tbsp. hot chocolate mix (I love Theo's rich dark drinking chocolate powder), a dash of cinnamon, and some raspberries, strawberries, or shredded coconut on top. Let it chill for a few hours and serve. If you want it a bit sweeter, add a few tbsp. of maple syrup or agave.

My favorite vegan dessert is a piece of chocolate! Or if I'm feeling fancy some homemade hot chocolate!

I have a great recipe for banana peanut butter cupcakes that NO ONE can tell is vegan. (

Hands down, the Cherry Pie from Vegan Pie in the Sky. I've been known to feast on an entire pie while enjoying a Downton Abbey marathon. I probably shouldn't have admitted that. But the pie's good.

I have a huge sweet tooth so I have a ton of favorites, but one is classic chocolate chip cookies.. specifically jumbo, soft and chewy on the inside, crisp on the outside chocolate chip cookies :)

I love Trader Joe's cherry chocolate soy ice cream. Homemade: I make a pretty darn good banana bread based on the recipe in Vegan Family Cookbook. :) I have a sweet tooth as well so it's hard to choose!!!

I've enjoyed so many incredibly delicious vegan desserts that it's challenging to pick an all-time favorite, but here's my favorite go-to "quick vegan raw chocolate brownie" recipe: Put 1 cup walnuts, 1 cup pitted Medjool dates, 1/2 cup cacao powder, 1 tsp. vanilla, and 1 tsp. cinnamon in a food processor. Process until it becomes smooth. Place the brownie ball into a 4"x8" (or so) container and flatten it. Cut your brownies into squares and enjoy! Email:

My favourite vegan dessert is black forest anything. Chocolate and cherry is my favourite combination, add in some cashew cream and I am pretty sure you are in heaven.

I'm a cookie girl. Sugar cookies are my favorite!

Thanks for the low-fat cooking tips! I really need to get better at cooking with less oil. We go through olive oil in this house like it's nobody's business! I'm launching a healthy cooking club at work to get people informed about plant-based cooking so I need to walk the walk and cut down on both the oil and the processed sugar, which I use way too often in baking when I know there are alternatives... But yes, favorite vegan desserts: In the homemade category, I love making chocolate chip-oatmeal-walnut cookies but my avocado-chocolate pudding is even easier and just as delicious and awesome. For pre-made, I love Purely Decadent Peanut Butter Zig Zag ice cream!
