The main reason I am a monthly donor is the podcast — it’s a very effective advocacy tool and helps me to stay up to date with news and interesting projects and people within the AR movement. Jessika

You love making an exponential impact

mic-transparentI support Our Hen House because your impact is exponential by inspiring others to change the world for animals in their own way. Andrea

I support OHH as I appreciate the information they provide. I also love that I am able to make a difference in the vegan world by my donation. Jonathan
*
I support Our Hen House because they do an amazing job of sharing animal issues — podcast, TV show, website, articles. I want to be part of it! Teresa
*
I donate to Our Hen House because Jasmin and Mariann are smart, fun, intelligent, compassionate, and aren’t afraid to talk about horrific subjects that I’m afraid to even think about. Despite the subject matter, I always feel inspired, educated, entertained, and optimistic. I find myself saying ‘yes’ and ‘exactly’ at my speaker, like I’m sat in the room with them having a conversation with my enlightened best mates. Jacki
*
I support Our Hen House because they give me ideas for outreach projects when they interview people! Nicole
*
I support Our Hen House because they do incredible work that is truly changing the world for the better for all life. I find their work so important that I wanted to financially support them. Amanda
*
I give to OHH because I believe in the mission of the organization, and I fully support the work that Mariann and Jasmin have done. I’ve become a better advocate because of them. Alison
*
I support Our Hen House because I think it’s important to get the information about animal rights out there and to help people understand that veganism is good for animals, humans and the planet. And the food is delicious! Betty

I support Our Hen House for several reasons:

  1. Jasmin and Mariann give me constant personal support through their podcast. I have no vegan friends/family in my life, and their words of wisdom and encouragement mean more to me than I could possibly say.
  2. The “extras” I receive by being a flock member are totally worth the money. The articles are particularly useful in my vegan journey.
  3. I believe my money is going to a worthy cause.  There are many organizations out there where I am just not sure how my money is being used. However, I completely trust Our Hen House. Celia

 *
I support Our Hen House is because I love the way it highlights all the ways a person could get themselves involved in activism for animals, and I am always inspired to know that there are so many amazing people out there making a difference. Susan
*
I support Our Hen House because I love Jasmin and Mariann. Their many activities are done very creatively and involve the arts. They allow me to learn additional perspectives and they introduce me to other people working in the fields. David

Your support changes lives!

mic3After hearing my first OHH episode, I knew that I wanted to go vegan “all the way.” I make my contributions to help ‘change the world for animals’! Emmely

I became a vegan on April 15 in part because of the wonderful work these ladies are doing to educate and awaken the public. I love the comprehensive coverage of all issues and the delivery of content by two of the smartest, funniest, and most passionate leaders in the animal rights movement. They are truly changing the world for animals. That’s why I am so committed to help however I can. Lita

When I first went vegan, I felt so alone. The podcast became such a valuable resource. Jasmin and Mariann discussed all the topics that I was aching to learn about. Some nights, I would listen to episode after episode and feel like I was among friends. I truly don’t know if I could have made it through those tough, early days without the show. These days, I actually work part-time organizing a Vegan Festival in Marshall, Texas. Part of me wonders, though, if I would have had the courage to pursue this job without the positive activist message of Our Hen House. Hearing the interviews with all the amazing people who are out changing the world is so motivating. How could I not join them?
I started donating to OHH because it felt right. I wanted to give back to the show that has meant so much to me. Thank you for doing all that you’re doing. Crystal

Your podcast saved my life. I was diagnosed as a type two diabetic a few years ago. My cholesterol was super high and so were all the bad things. The doctor wanted to give me meds for my health issues, but I didn’t want to take them. I started listening to your podcast and reading the people you said to read and plunged into the world of vegetarianism. I started cycling and lost 110 lbs. My A1C went from 9.2 to a low 5.6. This indicates that I am no longer diabetic. My overall cholesterol went from 350 to a 158. I no longer have high cholesterol. My triglycerides went from 425 to 138. I’m good there now, too. My ldl went from 160 to a more awesome 98. Thank you so much! Corey

I live in a little seaside town where there are no other vegans and hardly any vegan products. Listening to you both has given me a sense of community, which has definitely made a huge difference in keeping me on track. Even though you’re totally unaware of it, you’ve been my vegan besties on this journey. July was my one-year veganniversary! You’ve inspired me to grow my activism, too. I just started volunteering locally and am also working on bringing more of my activism into my writing. You’ve also really helped me in other ways. I’m 38 now and only just came out — just hearing you talking about your lives together has made me feel a lot more comfortable with my sexuality. Thanks for being such a huge inspiration to me personally and for all that you do for animals! Our Hen House has profoundly changed my life and I’m incredibly grateful to you both. Sianon
