Welcome to the 306th episode of Our Hen House, featuring Liz Pachaud and Michael Suchman.
On today’s episode, we squawk about effective activism in the context of the recent attacks in Beirut and Paris; why despair is not an option; and how we’re finding hope these days.
Our feature interview today is with former undercover investigator Liz Pachaud, who recently received Mercy For Animals’ Hidden Heroes Award. Liz will share her experiences on factory farms around the U.S., as well as some tips for folks who are interested in becoming undercover investigators themselves. She’ll also tell us about her latest project, Honor Society Coffee.
Then, we’re joined by one half of the Vegan Mos team Michael Suchman, who will give us his expertise on navigating the holidays, vegan-style.
All that, vegan banter, and of course, current events from the world of animal rights. There’s lots of “Rising Anxieties” today, too, so hold onto your seitan!
