Happy New Year from Asheville, NC! Tomorrow’s blog entry, going out to everyone (not just our darling flock), talks about how the last leg of our trip has just begun, and ruminates on how deeply we were affected by driving through Alabama (think civil rights). I hope you take a look at that, and share it. It will include a video, too. (Thank Dog for being able to work in the car!)
But this here video is just for you, and is a #PRIVATE#combination of footage from way back in Arizona, all the way through today. It includes my revelation for my New Year’s resolution, and also a bit of music (feel free to sing along – and my apologies in advance).
January marks Our Hen House’s third year anniversary, which is just plain nutty. This past month has been my favorite part of the past three years. Thank you each for making that happen. Here’s to 2013 – the year of thicker skin, and the year we mainstream the movement to end the exploitation of animals. I’ll drink to that!
Speaking of which, if you get this in time – remember to drink responsibly tonight (and vegan-ly).
P.S. I’m in love with Mariann’s blog post today. Did you catch it yet? It’s brilliantly titled “If They Lie (and They Will Lie), Sue Them.”
