This week’s bonus content from episode 575 features the incredible Nicola “Chef Cola” Kagoro, founder of African Vegan On A Budget. She teamed up with the International Anti-Poaching Foundation (IAPF) to establish a vegan camp kitchen in the bush for the Akashinga Rangers, an all-woman team protecting wild animals from poaching. She is also the founder of the grassroots movement Back to Black Roots, an initiative that spreads awareness of the beauty of African vegan culture and cuisine.
We’re very excited to share this exclusive bonus interview with our flock! Chef Cola joins us to share some of her favorite recipes and cooking techniques, discusses how she shifted her cooking to suit a variety of palates, and tells us about how COVID-19 has affected her.
Leave us your thoughts on this clip, and anything else you’d like to see as bonus content, on the Flock Facebook Page.
On behalf of all of us here at Our Hen House, thank you!
