This week’s bonus is a very special reading (recorded just for you!) from the remarkable Katja M. Guenther, PhD who joined us on episode 619. As a Professor of Gender & Sexuality Studies at the University of California, Riverside, Katja’s main areas of research, writing, and activism are feminist politics and the human exploitation of non-human animals. In this exclusive bonus content, she reads from the last chapter of her newest book, The Lives and Deaths of Shelter Animals.
Leave us your thoughts on this clip, and anything else you’d like to see as bonus content, on the Flock Facebook Page.
On behalf of all of us here at Our Hen House, thank you!
