Welcome to the 13th podcast episode of Our Hen House!

In today’s episode, we will admit what led to us feeling like unpopular, slightly awkard 12-year-olds. We will also discuss the new book, Gristle, edited by Moby and Miyun Park.

Joining us today is John Phillips, the Executive Director of the New York League of Humane Voters. John will talk with us all about the importance of using the political machine to create change for animals.

In our news section, we will discuss a new resolution in San Francisco to make Mondays meat-free. We’ll also talk about a new undercover investigation at an egg farm, conducted by the Humane Society of the United States.

Finally, we will talk make-up – cruelty-free make-up, that is, and we’ll discuss the results of our Facebook survey which asked people to share their favorite vegan make-up product.
