Welcome to the 205^th episode of Our Hen House, featuring Tod Emko [transcript], with special guest Danielle Legg.

Joining us today is Tod Emko, founder of Darwin Animal Doctors, an organization providing comprehensive veterinary care for the animals of the Galapagos. Tod will tell us about what’s happening for animals over in the Galapagos, and will also talk about his new comic book – “A Piggy’s Tale,” about a very special three-legged dog rescue hero.
For our review, we will chat about the new novel, “The Chain,” by Robin Lamont – which follows a seasoned and passionate animal welfare investigator who becomes entangled in the personal lives of a damaged family in a small town where a meat-packing plant drives the economy.
All that, vegan banter, and of course, current events from the world of animal rights.
