Welcome to the 269th episode of Our Hen House, featuring interviews with Scotlund Haisley and Michael Webermann, plus a special appearance by Matthew Liebman.
On today’s episode, we discuss our trip to Harvard where Mariann was a judge at the National Animal Law Moot Court Competition. Special guest animal law attorney Matthew Liebman will fill us in on what it was like writing the fictional problem that the up-and-coming animal law attorneys had to argue this year. While we’re on the subject, we’ll fill you in on a cafe in Cambridge that’s not to be missed. There’s lots and lots and lots of “Rising Anxieties” today, too.
Our feature interview is with the absolutely incredible Scotlund Haisley, a changemaker in the true definition of the word. Scotlund will tell us all about his life-saving work with the Animal Rescue Corps. Prepare to be moved like you haven’t been moved in a long while.
Then, the fabulous Michael Webermann, Executive Director of FARM USA, will join us to give us the skinny on the upcoming MeatOut campaign.
All that, vegan banter, and of course, current events from the world of animal rights.
