Welcome to the third podcast episode of Our Hen House!
In today’s episode, we start out by talking all about the vegan deliciousness that is Portland, Oregon. We then discuss one of the greatest stumbling blocks in going vegan (and, as of late, greatest joys) — cheese! We talk about a recent lawsuit against puppy mills, and about the utter importance that undercover investigations play in creating change for animals. Speaking of which, we talk with Nathan Runkle, executive director and founder of Mercy for Animals — the group responsible for the recent undercover investigation of a major dairy factory in New York State. Lastly, we give you our full vegan review of the Trader Joe’s near us, which is probably not that unlike the Trader Joe’s near you.
