Mariann interviews long-time wildlife protector Kartick Satyanarayan, co-founder and chairman of Wildlife SOS and head of its anti-poaching unit, Forest Watch. His many successes include the rescue and rehabilitation of sloth bears (see close friend in photo), abolition of the dancing bear practice, and Asian elephant rescue. He talks about his latest work to protect and conserve India’s wildlife and his continuing mission to educate the public about the need for habitat protection. 
Jasmin talks food with the Vegan Mos – Michael Suchman and Ethan Ciment – founders of the popular blog VeganMos.com. They put their heads together to create the amazing new cookbook NYC Vegan: Iconic Recipes for a Taste of the Big Apple. The foods of New York are the foods of the world and their vegan versions are just what the doctor ordered! And their cookbook is the next best thing to having the Vegan Mos in your kitchen!
