Welcome to the sixth podcast episode of Our Hen House!
In today’s episode, we will discuss Ellen DeGeneres’ role in Jasmin’s nightlife, which, oddly enough, will lead us into a discussion of children’s TV. (Should you call it children’s TV when you’re an adult and you watch it?) Continuing with our childlike theme, we will talk with children’s book author and animal advocate, Maya Gottfried, about her new book, Our Farm, which is a collection of poems (and paintings!) for children – all from the animals’ perspective. Following that, we will discuss some news for animals from West Hollywood, as well as an incredibly provocative New York Times Op-Ed piece — “End Animal Pain on Factory Farms.” Then, we’ll let you in on some upcoming events that are not to be missed. Finally, we will give you our take on the best vegan cities – as least of the ones we’ve been to – in our humble opinions.
