Welcome to the 63rd episode of Our Hen House, featuring Paul Waldau.
In today’s episode, we’ll give you the trials and tribulations of the latest Food Network stunt, and how that pertains to us vegans. You’ll find out why the producers of the new show “Meat and Potatoes” just don’t get it! We’ll give the latest on our fast for health and, our dog Rose’s new homemade vegan food. We’ll also talk about pinups – so stay tuned.
Joining us today is Paul Waldau, author of the new book, Animal Rights: What Everyone Needs to Know. In addition to discussing that groundbreaking book with us, Paul, who has also written extensively on animals in religion, will discuss what everyone needs to know about religion and animal rights.
For our review, we will be joined by our fabulous Hollywood correspondent, Ari Solomon, who will give us the skinny on last weekend’s Genesis Awards, honoring the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works that raise public awareness of animal issues.
All that, vegan banter, and of course, current events from the world of animal rights.
This week’s news items include:
- “Survey finds Iowa voters oppose prohibiting secret animal-abuse videos” from DesMoinesRegister.com
