Welcome to the 88th episode of Our Hen House, featuring Danielle Konya of Vegan Treats.
In today’s episode, we tell you all about our vegan adventures in Bethlehem, PA, where we were speaking at the Bethlehem VegFest. We’ll also talk about one of our favorite songs, which just so happens to focus on animal rights. The song, entitled “I Broke the Law,” is written and performed by the incredible singer/songwriter, Joy Askew, and gives us serious goosebumps every time we hear it. You won’t want to miss this. (Also check out the Art of the Animal video we made of Joy last year.)
You also won’t want to miss our inspiring interview, because joining us today is Danielle Konya, the mastermind baker and entrepreneur behind the wildly successful, and out-of-this-world delicious company, Vegan Treats, which is based in Bethlehem, PA. Danielle will tell us how she put vegan desserts on the map, and she’ll give us some insight into running a vegan business.
For our review, we’ll share our thoughts on the new documentary, Got the Facts on Milk? by Shira Lane. But beware: What you hear might shock you, and it might even change your life.
All that, vegan banter, and of course, current events from the world of animal rights.
