Episodes 1 and 2 of the New Our Hen House TV Show Are Now Viewable Online!

tv1Surely you know by now. The Our Hen House TV show officially launched last week as a co-production with Brooklyn Independent Media.

Our Hen House’s TV show, a co-production with Brooklyn Independent Media, ventures into the under-explored world of animals rights with a sense of humor, a passionate heart, and more than a few opinions on the state of animal rights. Whether you’re a seasoned vegan, a part-time vegetarian, a fiery social justice activist, or simply love your dog, Our Hen House’s TV show will embolden you to think in new directions, to question assumptions, and to sample some fabulous food along the way.   The show is an extension of the popular podcast under the same name.

Our 1-minute promo is definitely worth a watch, as it explains the intended audience for our show.
Episode 1, our Pilot, which aired last week, featured the incredible famed comedian Myq Kaplan, along with the beautiful and beautifully entrepreneurial Ella Nemcova, the force behind Faux Gras.
Episode 2 — NEW TODAY! — features the stunning and kind-hearted Leanne Mai-ly Hilgart, the powerhouse behind fashion house Vaute Couture. It also features the compassionate folks behind the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, along with 3 very special animals — Robbie, Clover, and Winnie.
Here’s how to watch the shows:

  1. Tune in at www.ourhenhouse.org/tv regularly for the most updated episode! We will also post new episodes as they appear to our Facebook and Twitter pages.
  2. If you’re in NYC, catch us on cable! The Our Hen House TV show airs every Monday night at 7, with repeat episodes of that same show on Wednesdays and Fridays, also at 7. Brooklyn Independent Media airs on Time Warner 756 and Verizon Fios 46,  and Cablevision customers can check listings for the channel information.
  3. The Our Hen House TV show streams online at BRICartsmedia.org/bkindiemedia every Monday at 7 EST, with repeat episodes streamed there on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.

Please help us spread the word! Tweet about it (tag @ourhenhouse and @bkindiemedia), and share on your Facebook page! We even know of a few folks who are organizing weekly viewing parties!
Remember, Our Hen House is a non-profit and we could not do this without your support — so please consider donating today and keeping vegan indie media alive. Thank you!
