So you have a vegan blog or website, or you’re a vegan who has a blog or website. Either way, you want your new venture to be a success, and in this here technology age, that can be both simple (since anyone can publish themselves) and difficult (since the competition is staggering). I’ve recently come across a few websites that seem to have valuable info for someone (like me!) who is looking to optimize their website for the greater good, including both increasing traffic and possibly making a buck or five.
First, thanks to activist Danielle Bays who sent this my way: The Digital Marketer has some “Quick and Dirty Tips” ranging from five Twitter-like apps (Sprouter is totally intriguing for this entrepreneur), to free and cheap stock images (like the one used on this blog entry).
And for those of you who want to make money from your website, check out this incredibly helpful summary of tips from Daily Blog Tips. I particularly like the suggestion of selling an ebook to generate income, though of course, that one is about a zillion times more work than the other options. (I would like that one …)
Lastly, have you heard of Vegan Mainstream? Though I don’t have personal experience with them, they claim to offer “vegan marketing for any lifestyle,” and offer services including assisting you with increasing traffic on your vegan blog and expanding your reach to non-vegan target markets (which is really the point of all of this, isn’t it?).
