Flock Only: Seeking Your Thoughts on Effective Time-Managment, Plus a GIVEAWAY of “Change the World for Animals” Stickers!

clockDear Flock,
You might have noticed yesterday that we started a new #ThrowbackThursday program with OHH. We have published over 2,000 articles since starting on January 1, 2010, and we thought that #TT would be a stellar way of breathing new life into old pieces. #PRIVATE# Yesterday, we republished our video we made with The Dosa Man, which I love in irrational ways. I was wondering if you might be able to make a few suggestions of old OHH pieces that have stuck with you, or ones that you find by looking through the archives? The easiest way to get to the archives is to go to the bottom of our homepage and click on the pull-down menu, then navigate by month and year. For #TT, pay particular attention to 2010, ’11, and ’12. Please leave your suggestions below (or you could email us at info [at] ourhenhouse [dot] org). I can’t wait to see your suggestions!
I had another question for you: I wanted to know how you manage your time effectively? I’m always curious about how people do that. Do you use a white board? An app? A stickie? Do you just keep all the info straight using only your fabulous brain? I have noticed recently that I have been failing a little bit in the effective-time-management area, and I could use some tips! We tend to vacillate a bit between using a white board and having a morning meeting with our to-do items for that day, and just kind of winging it and working on the next thing. But there are some really important larger projects that I never seem to get to, because I’m too busy working on specific deadline projects, and then time just magically runs out. I’d love your thoughts and ideas.
Since you’re being so helpful — and since I love each and every one of you as if you were my puppy — let’s give something away for the flock! We don’t have too many of our large “Change the World for Animals” stickers left, but I want to give three of you a sticker! I have one stuck onto my computer. Victoria Moran has one on her front door. These are fantastic stickers, and I know you want one.
So comment below and either tell us how you effectively manage your time and prioritize getting big projects in, or give us an idea of a #ThrowbackThursday article you want to see us publish, and we’ll consider your comment an entry in the contest to win a sticker. Feel free to comment as many times as you want, but know that you can only actually enter one time, so we will only count your input as just one entry. You have one week — so comment before Midnight ET on Friday, May 16. We will randomly select a winner on the 17th, and contact the winners.
Thanks for your input and insight, as always, and thanks for being in our flock. We adore you.
xo jasmin

Episode 226: “Man, do not pride yourself on your superiority to the animals, for they are without sin, while you, with all your greatness, you defile the earth wherever you appear and leave an ignoble trail behind you — and that is true, alas, for almost every one of us!”
