Free on Wednesday? Want to catch up on your knowledge base on global warming? What looks to be a very exciting conference is being held in London at the House of Parliament, but thanks to the World Wide Web, you can learn your global warming facts all from the comfort of your own home. Sponsored by the World Preservation Foundation (which seems to be affiliated with the Supreme Master — but, seriously, don’t hold that against it ’cause it looks great), the day of speakers clearly is going to include many who will focus on the impact of animal agriculture on climate change, including Stanford University biochemist Pat Brown. They are even including vegan, or almost vegan, health gurus like Caldwell Esselstyn (via video) and Joel Fuhrman, who will join scientists and policy-makers in addressing the need for finding solutions to climate change and who will also let them know that a vegan, high nutrient diet is not only the best thing for the planet, but for the health of its occupants.
As mentioned, even if you’re not a Brit, the conference will be live streamed. Lucky us! It will be held tomorrow (that’s Wednesday, November 3) and starts at 9 AM, which puts it at 5 AM EST — the perfect time to get in some learning about impending doom before starting your day. If you are not planning on being up that early, you can check out the schedule of speakers and plan your day accordingly.
