“Last week, vegan-friendly beauty brand LUSH Cosmetics granted $16,000 to animal-rights media nonprofit Our Hen House (OHH), known most for its eponymous podcast. The grant is part of LUSH’s “Charity Pot” initiative to support organizations with a focus on ending animal suffering in the food, cosmetics, and entertainment industries. “The work of OHH in creating awareness, driving discussion, and mobilizing people to work toward effectively ending animal exploitation,” LUSH’s North American Grant Specialist Erika Edwards tells VegNews, “most certainly aligns with our brand values.”
