Recently, I got to sit down with Isa Chandra Moskowitz to discuss how she became the vegan goddess she is today. For those of you who’ve been living under a cupcake (which, chances are, Isa baked), Isa is the bestselling vegan cookbook author of numerous books, including Veganomicon, Vegan with a Vengeance, Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar, Vegan Brunch, and (if you can believe it) more. She is the mastermind behind The Post Punk Kitchen, has been featured in the New York Times a handful of times, and is a shining example of how to effectively mainstream the message. Isa makes a living at what she is great at, while also doing (more than) her part to help animals. She’s one of the coolest people I know, and you’ll soon see why …
The photo used in this blog entry is from the 2007 NYC Walk for Farm Animals. That’s me in the mini-skirt, the blonde is Marisa Miller Wolfson, and Isa was our very special speaker. An oldie but goodie!
