Such a Deal!!!! Wear Your Vegan Pride On Your Shoulder

by Jasmin May 31, 2011
written by Jasmin

Remember a couple months ago when we told you about Vegan Cuts, the vegan Groupon-type-thing (our words, not theirs)? You sign up for free, and every week you get emails featuring exclusive deals on vegan products. Cha-ching! What a stellar way to support vegan businesses — not to mention, get some sweet deals at the same time.

My arm is famous.

Well, this week, the Vegan Cuts deal features Our Hen House tote bags, a deal we think is clucking fantastic! If you’ve been paying attention, you know that our tote bags are ethically-sourced and vegan made from recycled soda and water containers — created in collaboration with the gorgeous people at Lion’s Share Industries (using artist-extraordinairre Razi Bhatti). Our bags (which are made in the USA) are more ethical than most people.

And this week, thanks to the magic of Vegan Cuts, if you’re in the US or Canada, you can score your very own for just $15, which includes shipping and handling. The bags tout our tag line, “A place to find our way to change the world for animals,” with “ourhenhouse.org” just below it. The design itself is folk-art inspired, with some animals frolicking about. Suitable for men or women, the colors are black, yellow, and white. I’ve been told that the oversized bags are the perfect size to hold a laptop, and in addition to supporting our mission to mainstream the movement to end the exploitation of animals, carrying these stylish bags will also allow you to wear your vegan pride on your shoulder for all to see.

Get in on it.
