The only irksome part about this amazing opportunity is that Our Hen House can’t get in on it because it is mainly for seed money, and we’re already almost three years young. Self-centeredness aside, I am so elated when I think of all the potential there is to change the world for animals thanks to The Pollination Project, a foundation awarding $1,000 a day for a solid year to projects that focus on compassion (to humans, animals, and the planet), and social justice. Started by Dallas-based entrepreneur Ari Nessel, a man with a mission to give away $365,000 in one year in order to help visionaries and activists change the world, The Pollination Project has such partners as Mercy for Animals, PETA, Vegan Outreach, and the Institute for Humane Education.
And for those of you ethical job-seekers out there, The Pollination is currently hiring a full-time program coordinator based in either Dallas or the San Francisco Bay area.
Get pollinating. There are seeds to plant and awareness to grow.
